The theme of our fifth International Conference on
Appropriate Technology is designed to:
- Promote the identification, assessment, archiving and tracking of appropriate technology education, research and practice
- Focus on how to impact technology policy to safeguard the planet and empower the people, particularly historically oppressed and disadvantaged population
- Provide a forum for networking on appropriate technology solutions to sustainable development in Africa and across the Global South
