SUMMARY:Community Content - Sharing Local Knowledge for Development
DESCRIPTION:The workshop aims to identify and publicise Local Content 
 activities, to raise awareness about their importance and to try and r
 e-energise the interest of the mainstream development community, inclu
 ding the larger international NGOs and donors. At the workshop we want
  to gather information, stories and learning about Local content work 
 that is happening in Africa. We also want to talk about how we can pro
 mote that work and how it can link into the Knowledge Sharing work of 
 organisations working across sub-Saharan Africa. We are also intereste
 d in looking at the traffic of ideas from Local to Global, what happen
 s to the ideas and relationships that sustain learning knowledge shari
 ng at local levels when they connect to Global organisations and netwo
