DESCRIPTION:As part of a reflection and research process called How Wi
 de are the Ripples, IKM Emergent are sponsoring an event for practitio
 ners to share examples and experiences of promoting the flow of inform
 ation from the grassroots to international headquarters of internation
 al development NGOs. The event is part of a wider workshop looking at 
 some of the institutional and cultural issues and exploring some of th
 e systems and tools to overcome these in more detail. The networking a
 nd sharing event will take place over lunch on the first day of teh wo
 rkshop and is open for attendance and contribution from people not par
