Knowledge mapping in the organisation is the process of assessing the knowledge information and competences held by the members of the organisation and using their competencies to improve organisational performance.This can be done by identifying the staff competences,learning their roles and expertise ,identify constraints to the flow of knowledge, and highlighting opportunities to leverage the existing knowlege in the organisation.Some organisation also map their knowledge by providing training opportunities and allowing staff members to share and allow easy flow of information in the organisation.
