UNDP Vietnam seeks qualified international consultants for the Preparation of Knowledge Management Strategy, Capacity for the Implementation of International Human Rights Treaties in Vietnam project
The general objectives of the assignment are:
• To improve the understanding and capacity of officers working in the field of human rights, directly and indirectly, on KM is improved.
• The process of information gathering, managing, updating, sharing among ministries and government agencies and knowledge creation is improved. The decision makers can base on the information to arrive at a sound decision and develop effective procedures and necessary interpersonal skills among theirs subordinates.
The main activities of the assignment include:
• A two day workshop on KM is held for officers from state agencies, political, social, professional organizations and academic institutions working directly or indirectly in the area of human rights to improve the understanding and capacity of these officers on KM. The workshop documentation is sent to the project team in advance for comments as well as for translation into Vietnamese.
• A questionnaire, based on which to learn about the management system of data, information and knowledge in various state agencies, is developed. The international expert will be involved in developing a questionnaire which will be used to gather information on the knowledge management systems set up by Ministries and local agencies.
• Provide comments on the draft Knowledge management strategy developed by national consultants.
