The QED Group, LLC, (QED) may have a need for Microenterprise Development Knowledge & Learning Coordinators in the areas of Financial Services and Enterprise Development to support its work with the USAID Microenterprise Development (MD) office’s Knowledge-Driven Microenterprise Development (KDMD) project. The KDMD project aims to create tools and opportunities for development professionals to connect, share knowledge, and learn from one another to improve practice. QED has established sophisticated, cutting-edge, knowledge management and communications systems, including the award-winning microLINKS and the Poverty Frontiers websites.

Each Coordinator would oversee KDMD initiatives and opportunities related to a technical area and serve as a project focal point to identify needs and opportunities to capture and share industry know how and best practice. Coordinators would be responsible for a suite of existing and upcoming products and services, including seminar series, Notes from the Field, online discussions, and engaging online content in a Web 2.0 environment. The Coordinator would conduct outreach, represent the interests of clients, and manage a dynamic portfolio of online and in-person events and activities to design and deliver demand-driven, high-quality knowledge and learning services.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, proven project management experience, and have professional links to key players in each respective technical area. Enthusiasm, resourcefulness, initiative, and creativity are also valued attributes.

Requirements:

 A minimum of 3 years experience performing similar or related functions for USAID or for an international development organization;
 Experience as an activity or project manager;
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including writing and editing skills;
 Experience in coordinating/managing financial services or microenterprise development programs;
 Knowledge, interest and/or experience in knowledge management and/or Web 2.0 tools;
 Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required, Master’s Degree in a relevant field preferred.
 Authorization to work in the US required
