Hello all!
Is this group still active?
I'm planning to come over to Nairobi next week and was wondering if anyone from this group might be interested in meeting up.
Also: There is potentially a very interesting event for some of you on Thursday afternoon at the campus of the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) 2-5pm on engaging policy-makers.
Regardless of either result, I'm curious as to how 'active' this network is and if it is would love to hook up :)

Cheers,
Ewen (facilitating the Addis Ababa KM4Dev network)

Job: The Technical Consortium on Ending Drought Emergencies and Building Resilience in the Horn of Africa is urgently looking for a consultant to undertake a very brief review of lessons learned and good practice in research for development in drylands in the Horn of Africa. This would be a 14 day assignment and the product would be a paper no longer than 20 pages. Check out the attachment if you are interested.

On a different note, are we still interested in organizing another meetup? Some of you said they would prefer to have it on Saturday. Shall we say September 15?

Hi all,

I also prefer Saturday to Sunday, if this is okay by all.

Monica.

Hi all! I will be away in July (from 1st to 22nd), but I would love to have another meetup with KM4Devers from Nairobi! A weekend afternoon would probably be the best time. For example, in June we could do it on Sun 24 and in July on Sun 29. Let me know if any of these dates works for you, or if you want to meet up another day in July, in which case I'll be happy to catch up with you at the following meetup.

Dear carl and all,

thanks for your response. I would be happy to meet the rest of the group. I am fairly flexible and any date in June will do for me. Perhaps the rest of the members could suggest a date?

Regards,

Dorine
