Good point Nancy! I've recently realized how thin on the ground I'd be if I become active in too many. So far, I've restricted myself to the eduhuddle (just signed up and added a couple of potential topics. (Massive congratulations to you and John on getting the book out the door!)

I'm just getting back into gear, but I'll also be thinking about inter-huddle issues....it would be nice to find an elegant way to look at synergies and divergences (is that a word?). Maybe some kind of light iterative interactions between groups?

Man, you will be split many ways. That raises the question - how many huddles can one person be part of? we need to look at the agenda and help people think about their own participation options.

I heard that my friend John Smith will be coming. He offered to lend a hand. I expect him to show up here sooner or later. He is a communities of practice and technology steward kind of guy (and my co author for our book that is FINALLY coming out late August! WOO HOO!)

I'm going to be part of the following huddles:
* Cross-fertilisation
* Water
* Social media
* Decentralisation / local governance
Looking forward to huddling (and un-huddling too) before and during the event!

@gaurisalokhe yeah, we really need to start thinking about how this weaves together.
Comment by Roxanna Samii on July 30, 2009 at 2:15pm
Nancy, yes absolutely it fits in perfectly in the social media huddle
Comment by Gauri Salokhe on July 30, 2009 at 12:28pm
Sorry, just need a clarification: Are all huddles going to take place in parallel to each other? Topics such as social media, cross fertilisation between sectors etc. are less thematic (Agriculture, Climate Change, Water, etc.). Maybe we should have two sessions of huddles? One more thematic while other cross sectoral issues.
Comment by Nancy White on July 30, 2009 at 12:29am
Roxy, would that be part of the social media huddle?
Comment by Roxanna Samii on July 29, 2009 at 2:02pm
What do you guys think about having ahuddle on how to bring on board both KM and social media cynics?
Comment by Denise Senmartin on July 29, 2009 at 1:29pm
governance
aid effectiveness/cooperation industry
climate change adaptation
migration

In a world of change, so:
- management change
- institutional change
- communciational change
- agents of change
related to all a-z themes
