Dear Friends,
The following job posting of African Capacity Building Foundation for Knowledge Management Expert in Harare, Zimbabwe may be of interest to some colleagues in this list:
Knowledge Management Expert, Zimbabwe
The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) is an autonomous Foundation, sponsored by the African Development Bank (AfDB), World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It enjoys support from a wide range of bilateral donors and African states as full partners to the development of human and institutional capacities.
The Foundation is seeking applications for a Knowledge Management Expert. The incumbent will have a primary responsibility of providing input into the development and strengthening of the Foundation’s knowledge generation, sharing and utilization process and build an internal ‘Knowledge Management’ program.
Hi Dorine, welcome to the group. I am based in the UK but had the pleasure to meet up with other KM4Dev members in Nairobi on a visit last October. Davide created this page for the group and the idea is for informal get togethers in Nairobi to build relationships and learn from each other about ongoing KM work in the development sector. Perhaps you'd like to suggest a date, time and venue you'd like the group to meet up in July?
thanks for your response. I would be happy to meet the rest of the group. I am fairly flexible and any date in June will do for me. Perhaps the rest of the members could suggest a date?
Hi all! I will be away in July (from 1st to 22nd), but I would love to have another meetup with KM4Devers from Nairobi! A weekend afternoon would probably be the best time. For example, in June we could do it on Sun 24 and in July on Sun 29. Let me know if any of these dates works for you, or if you want to meet up another day in July, in which case I'll be happy to catch up with you at the following meetup.
Hi guys. I have been km4dever over the past couple or so years but have just joined the Nairobi group. I am based in Ugunja, Siaya County and would be looking forward to inetracting more with you guys both online and face to face.
I'm still in the UK but in case you haven't heard ILRI in Nairobi are holding a Communications for Development get together on 31 August. If you'd like to attend just email your details to:
