Hi Neil,

Hope you are doing fine.

I am a Delhi-based journalist and communications professional.

Nearly four years ago, I was in touch with you when I became a member of HIFA 2015.

You also wrote an article on the role of knowledge sharing in the health sector for the website I was managing then (www.businessworld.in ). I got introduced to you by Meenakshi Gautam, a friend of mine, who is a public health specialist trained in the London School of Tropical Medicine.

Hope to be in touch with you on KM4Dev.

Cheers,

Vijay Srinivas

Ah yes--I have been part of this listserv too--I meant the community site was new. And I do agree with you wholeheartedly that email is still one of the primary ways to do this work. I do optimistically think we are moving in a direction of being able to add to that, too, and use web services--especially those that have mobile/email interfaces.

Hi Neil--I was just saying that I was in the audience Friday with Elvira talking about accelerating the MDGs as we tried desperately to hear you on Skype--and finally prevailed! I enjoyed hearing your talk, and then coincidentally just found you here in this new community--so nice to meet you!
(I work in web strategies and talked at Midego about a few ways we might use the web to strengthen our programs, so I was particularly interested in your talk!)
