<p><strong>Knowledge on a Mission</strong> <strong>is a free, day-long event sponsored by the <a rel="nofollow noopener" href="http://www.ifc.org/wps/wcm/connect/corp_ext_content/ifc_external_corporate_site/home" target="_blank">International Finance Corporation</a> of The World Bank Group.</strong> It brings together executives from large organizations (in both private sector and non-profit domains), international knowledge practitioners & operational staff, and independent high-level knowledge specialist interested in <strong>applying successful knowledge-based solutions which impact organizational impact</strong> from different domains to their own organizations' challenges.</p>
<p><span>It follows the successful annual editions since 2015, with the CKO's of NASA and The Olympics, and executives from RMI/Carbon War Room and the UNDP.</span> </p>
<p>This year the mission will take us to Blockchain and luxury yachts: Ms Shailee Adinolfi (ConsenSys) on "Knowledge, Your Strongest (Blockchain) Link" and Mr Jasper Lavertu (Feadship) on "Custom-Built Knowledge for the High Seas".</p>

<p>This year we explore knowledge issues around how the private sector can support advancing the <a href="http://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/sustainable-development-goals/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Sustainable Development Goals</a> (SDGs) Our keynote speaker is <a href="https://www.rmi.org/people/lily-donge/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Lily Donge</a>, who leads the <a href="http://businessrenewables.org/what-we-do/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Business Renewables Center</a>, <a href="https://www.rmi.org/carbon-war-room/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Carbon War Room</a>.</p>
