Representing a Knowledge architecture

Hello Folks,

Has anyone here worked on designing a knowledge architecture for an organization?

I am looking for inspiration on how to represent the architecture, with its many elements and dimensions. I believe if I have a visual image that frame the K architecture idea, it will be easier to communicate the idea and have the conversations progressing with my colleagues.

if you have ideas, references to share, I would be most grateful. Happy to chat 1:1 as well.

Many…

Under the skin of: Religion, the EU and Democracy in Sudan

Reflections, space and sabbaticals beside the sea in Eastbourne

I do some of my best thinking on my daily ‘walk to work’. It’s a ritual I’ve followed from my early days as a commuter and I’ve found that, no matter what I am working on (or where), this reflection time is vital. I’m fortunate; I live close to the sea (in Eastbourne & LIsbon) and today as the tide was going out the scent of moss on rocks and seaweed filled the air.…

Is Your Sales Team Equipped With Right Knowledge?

It’s a proven fact that 40% of sales people cannot understand a customer’s pain. When a customer comes with a problem, Sales rep panic and end up giving the first option that comes to their mind, which can prove to be a disaster if their answer addresses the problem which the customer did not even have. There are many factors that are not in control but the failure or success of a sales rep is mostly dependant on the level of preparedness and constant adaptation to the dynamic…

"You have the wrong passport": KM in Khartoum

I've been in Khartoum. I was there as President Trump announced the ban on travellers from 7 countries which included Sudan. The impact on morale (a week after the outgoing Obama administration had eased sanctions on the country) was palpable. Bans don't hit the powerful they hit ordinary people with families overseas or like many I spoke to who visit the US for work or research.

a week on "Managing Knowledge in a Connected World"

So it was a poignant backdrop to the week…

Why I failed, and you don’t have to.

Have you ever pitched your dream? I mean, really got the chance to tell the right people your idea?

Research Project: Facilitation of Knowledge Exchange in International Development

I am undertaking a research project at the Department of Information Science at Loughborough University, UK. The project has the working title:
