The project “Spaces for Engagement: Using knowledge to improve pro poor public policy” (a GDNet initiative, implemented in Latin America by CIPPEC) is launching a call that will support the production of case studies that reflect experiences of the following two organizational practices:
§ Incorporation and socialization of experiences and knowledge on the influence of research in public policy within and between Think Tanks of the region
§ Monitoring and evaluation of the practices of influence of research in public policies.
The case or cases selected may reference to initiatives in these fields that have had successful results in their implementation or may have shown difficulties and obstacles that hindered the complete compliance of the pretended process and objectives. The experiences should be focused in order to be learning references on organizational practices and should be useful for other Think Tanks. The case or cases selected will be included in a handbook developed by CIPPEC. This handbook has the purpose to contribute to the development of knowledge management capacities and to the monitoring and evaluation of the experiences the Think Tanks have in order to influence in evidence based public policies.
