Who has experience with analysing comments on blog posts?

Googling on 'analysing comments on blog posts' did not give me recent results. On our Sanitation Updates news blog we have received more than 800 commentts that IRC has asked me to analyse.

Who in this community has experience with analysing comments on blog posts and is willing to share this? We will share an article with the end result in this community.
