A newly launched foundation for advanced science, innovation and research is creating its website. The foundation is composed of 3 research centers.
I have been assigned the website content management. My biggest challenge is to put in place proper rules and processes to control the content and be the only one who can edit/add/omit content.
My request is not technical but rather practical (I was thinking of a booklet, process document, process map... to share with colleagues and make sure they all understand the proper procedure for content management).

Thank you for your input.

The "lege artis" method in "simple but quite comprehensive and educative way" towards practical purposes as you intended is :

Firstly, develop your enterprise Taxonomy - Metadata as the Enterprise KM Infrastructure
Secondly, develop your Site Map (File Plan) and Taxonomy - Metadata Management for Effective Content Management System

Of course the above mentioned are not rigid method. You could make improvisation on this method based on your situation and condition.

Regarding of those two steps, should you give special attention to the Attachments 1, 2 and 3 which are significantly related with your aims , the following Link (sign-up is needed) http://mobeeknowledge.ning.com/forum/topics/the-importance-of-taxonomy - "THE IMPORTANCE OF TAXONOMY – METADATA MANAGEMENT AS ENTERPRISE DNA"
Thank you all for your precious help. I truly appreciate it.
Best,
Nadia
