The theme of our fifth International Conference on
Appropriate Technology is designed to:

Promote the identification, assessment, archiving and tracking of appropriate technology education, research and practice
Focus on how to impact technology policy to safeguard the planet and empower the people, particularly historically oppressed and disadvantaged population
Provide a forum for networking on appropriate technology solutions to sustainable development in Africa and across the Global South
