EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon award
The Learning and Knowledge Management (LEARN) contract serves to support strategic learning and knowledge management (KM) at USAID to improve the effectiveness of USAID programs in achieving significant development outcomes. DevTech is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) for LEARN. Competitive applicants should have experience in knowledge management, strategic learning or developmental evaluation in an international development context. This includes a proven ability to understand needs, develop appropriate solutions, lead teams and manage complex programs.
The DCOP will have a direct relationship with the COP in leading and managing the LEARN project team. The DCOP must complement the COP in maintaining effective working relationships with USAID, subcontractors, and partners in order to effectively coordinate the implementation of the Contract.
The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) will be responsible for: (1) supporting the COP in the provision of vision and leadership of the team; (2) managing the technical assistance and administration; (3) overseeing relationships with sub-contractors/sub-grantees; (4) implementing activities in accordance with applicable regulations; and (5) preparing and submitting technical and financial reports requested by USAID.

The DCOP will contribute to or review all of the deliverables for content and compliance with the terms of the contract. The DCOP will work closely with the team to prepare the final work plan as well as other contract deliverables.
The DCOP is responsible for supporting the COP to ensure the timely delivery of the all deliverables noted in the contract.
