We’re planning to convene the second KM4Dev Online Open Space (#KM4DevOOS2) throughout 21st June, 2018. Register here https://goo.gl/forms/gZ2vpRHA0FKLZz0x2
- Meeting time and format
The meeting will start at 0900 Kuala Lumpur (KL) time (which is where I am based) and continue on to 19:30 London time (GMT +1). You may find http://easyclock.appspot.com/ useful to check the timings in your time-zones.
We have scheduled a sequence of 6 time-slots / sessions, so all time-zones should be well covered. Each session will run approximately for two hours. During each session, we will break out in different virtual rooms, to discuss the topics that you will be suggesting - see below for more details.
In between sessions, the meeting room will remain open, and you will be able to enter the room and interact with each other (through text and audio) and hold informal/impromptu conversations.
- Discussion topics and discussion leads
As much as possible and to maximise participation and engagement, we would like to identify ahead of the event some discussion topics. There have been a lot of interesting conversations on the mailing list lately - and I’m sure lots has happened in terms of KM/KS/Learning in your work over the past year. Even more, I personally find it always beneficial to have conversations about and around our community - what we do, how we operate, the tools we use, etc.
So, what would you like to discuss?
Ideally, if you suggest a discussion topic, you should also be prepared to lead the conversation around it. Don’t be shy! ;-)
At the beginning of each session, we will simulate the Open Space market and review the topics listed for discussion, invite new topics and allocate participants to the different discussion groups they would like to join.
- Volunteers and support team
Besides Peter and myself, Elizabeth, Arwen, Catherine and Krishan have already agreed to support the event (many thanks, folks!). But of course, the more, the merrier ;-). So if you are interested/available to play an active role in the facilitation of the event, please let me know here or off-list. We have a separate email list for the support team and we’ll use that to discuss the details and the role you’ll play.
You may see this announcement and invite on other channels, including our Ning, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. Participate in spreading the news and documenting the event, use #KM4DevOOS2 across social media. Cheers, Pier Andrea
