Involved in setting up a CoP and wanting to benefit from others' experience in doing so, I am here in search of answers, perspectives and suggestions. I will contribute as our project grows.

I am looking for a graphical user interface for navigating an online library.
The resources in the library are partially sorted into collections, some of them overlapping. Also, the resources are categorized according to predetermined categories, and tagged with free tagging.
I'm thinking of Venn Diagrams, or spider-type links. It should be interesting, engaging, intuitive, easy to use.
The processing should be server-side, because many of the users have slow internet connections. I doubt anything flash will be suitable.
The software will be integrated for use in a Liferay-based online community.
Thank you very much for your help, advice, and suggestions!!
Just blogged about social media and thought this group might find some of it useful: http://km4meu.wordpress.com/2013/01/13/social-media-why-bother-a-fr... Feedback always welcome to improve :)

What are examples of current ways you capture, share or apply knowledge in your work? I hope some members of this group can join the USAID Agrilinks online discussion on knowledge sharing for food security and agriculture programs. We are discussing tools and approaches and would be great to have input on social media from this group. Thanks!
Thank you Roxy! Nice 1!
Any other resource or pointer anyone?
Ewen, pls feel free to use IFAD social media guidelines available at http://www.slideshare.net/ifad/ifad-social-media-guidelines
