Management Engineering Technologies International, Inc (METI), in support of the US Forest Service (USFS), requires the services of a Knowledge Management Specialist to support knowledge management initiatives globally in the USFS Office of International Programs. The position will sit within the Director’s Office and serve on the growing knowledge management team at International Programs to support learning, development, and information sharing across all units. Responsibilities will include: participating in the design and delivery of knowledge management systems, assisting with office learning and administration, and regularly conducting data entry and updating administrative systems.


To qualify for the role candidate must have:


Education background in information systems, education and training, organization development, or administration;
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to stay organized and prioritize work assignments;
Experience managing and organizing logistics;
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds;
Possess a high level of problem-solving and teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to work assignments;
Ability to work with remote teams across time zones;
Prior international experience is desired but not required.
