I would like to invite you to an exciting event that Practical Action are hosting in London discussing South-South knowledge exchange, see details below:

South-South Knowledge Exchange – How to make it work?

Thursday 29th September

A Discussion drawing on Reflections from ELLA (Evidence and Lessons from Latin America), a programme funded by UK Aid

2-5pm- Manufacturing Room, The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, 1 Birdcage Walk, London, SW1H 9JJ

 

A short initial panel presentation and a moderated open roundtable discussion, on issues such as:

  • Basic principles for south-south knowledge exchange and learning?
  • ‘One way’ or ‘two way’ models of learning?
  • Regional Research or Comparative Research?
  • How to address ‘context’?
  • What makes for effective south-south online communities?
  • How to make the most out of (high-cost) study tours?

To be followed by networking with refreshments.
