Organisations working in agriculture, rural development and related areas are transforming the ways they do business. These transformations call for us as individuals and in our institutions to cultivate much stronger capabilities to design and deliver truly effective ‘process’ improvements that lead to applied innovation, social learning and value for money. The improvements would help us to:

•       tackle tough issues through collective actions

•       collaborate across teams

•       forge and sustain partnerships for impact

•       take interventions to scale

•       engage effectively with local expertise

•       empower different actors

•       develop capacities for innovation and learning

•       facilitate dialogue and conversations

On Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 May this year, ILRI, other CGIAR centres and programmes, Full Circle Associates and Liberating Structures will convene a Share Fair in Addis Ababa to share and develop expertise and experiences in the areas listed above, with a main focus on agriculture and rural development.

We have space for 30-40 people max. We hope a lot of innovators in this area will join us from within Ethiopia and nearby. Everyone is a peer learner/contributor. We will practice what we preach!

We especially welcome active participants working in and with learning, innovation and knowledge sharing processes who want to take this opportunity to demonstrate, test, share or validate their experiences. We are cost-sharing which means each participant needs to contribute USD110 to cover the costs of lunches, breaks, meeting facilities, as well as world-famous Liberating Structures design, coaching and facilitation.
