Event Description

Dear colleagues and friends,

FINCA's VP of Knowledge Management, Gwen Andreotti, has proposed to establish an MFI working group to discuss KM challenges and best practices within the field of microfinance. We would like you to join us!

The charter of the working group will be established during the first working group meeting, planned to be held at some point during the month of August, 2014. FINCA will host and guide the first meeting, with the purpose of establishing a charter. The input of attendees will be solicited and incorporated to form the strategic goals of the working group.

FINCA is happy to host these meetings (most likely lunch meetings), but is also happy to rotate host

locations with other member organizations. We hope that the working group meetings will grow to include more interested members over time. FINCA will potentially host guest speakers, and take whatever steps are needed to ensure that meetings are meaningful and productive for everyone involved.

Please reply (to nicole.styler@finca.org) by Friday, Aug 1st with (1) your level of interest and availability to attend or call in, and (2) your background or current work in KM. Also, feel free to send us contact information for other potentially invitees and we will look at adding them to the list.

Once we have an idea of the number of attendees, we will send an invitation with a specific date and time.
