a global community
Hi everyone,
I’m a new comer- very happy to join this group and to meet you all.
I have a question and hope you guys can help me out: I wanted to understand about good practices in applying Theory of change (ToC) thinking in designing thematic knowledge networks. I’m curious to learn how ToC thinking can help achieving thematic knowledge network’s impacts? Are there good practices and/or any resources that you could direct me to learn more about these questions? Many thanks in advance for your help!
By the way, my name is Vien, I’m the Coordinator of The Global Transparency Education Network (GTEN)- a new initiative of Transparency International (TI). GTEN is an emerging network of TI national chapters and partners interested in addressing corruption in education sector.

Hi Vien,
Welcome to KM4Dev! I have been a member for years but tend to drift in and out as time permits.
Did anyone answer your question about ToC and KN impacts? I don't have an exact answer for the question but have some thoughts if you want to discuss. I am doing some research at the moment on outcome oriented research which has some relevance.
Let me know where you are at, what you have found and we can chat! My email is michelle.k.laurie@gmail.com.
Cheers,
Michelle
Hi Vien,
At the moment, on the main KM4Dev mailing list there is a discussion on theories of change and KM work. You might want to check that at: https://dgroups.org/?p94y9fzh
The general address for the KM4Dev mailing list is: http://next.dgroups.org/groups/km4dev-l and the home page of this Ning site explains how to join it.
Hope you find some answers... or better questions...
Cheers,
Ewen
