Tacit knowledge is converted to explicit knowledge through sharing ideas with one another in an organisation. The knowledge tapped from people's minds can then be documented.
I do agree with you mary,and i think it would be right to say that when individuals manage knowledge it allows knowledge to be easily shared and hence improved whenever the need arises.
