The UNICEF Knowledge Management team is looking for an energetic volunteer/intern copywriter fordeveloping a communities engagement guide, business cases, internal communications and promotion materials.

To strengthen knowledge exchange, mutual support and solutions in real-time, UNICEF manages web-based ‘Communities of Practice’ (CoP) on key themes. So far, more than 20 CoPs involving over 2400 staff are active in UNICEF. Some of these include membership from other UN and multi-lateral organizations, research institutions and key stakeholders.

Knowledge and experience of writing for the web is necessary for this position. Core qualifications include: 

~ Proven copywriting experience

~ Web copywriting experience

~ Knowledgeable with online social media platforms

~ Creative thinker and problem-solver able to generate fresh ideas

~ Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
