Derived from our Social Networking Site, “MOBEE KNOWLEDGE CoP” –http://mobeeknowledge.ning.com (“Toward Next Generation KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT 2.0 through Contextual Learning on the issues of Technologies,Market, People and Innovation”) , we had generated in briefstatement, 3 (three) new postulates  applied to Knowledge as follow: 

§ POSTULATE 1 : KNOWLEDGE IS CONSCIOUSNESS AND KM IS NOT FUSSY TERM

From my point of view and for the sake of educational purposes among KMers, do not getting into a distracted discussion or try to avoid discussion on KM versus  many Management (tools) types as “KM’s rivalries” or “KM competitors” Why it could happened? Let’s take a look for examples : Internal Communication vs KM, Social Media vs KM,Business Intelligence vs KM, Balanced Score Card vs KM, Information Managementvs KM, Business Process Reengineering vs KM, Content Management vs KM, DocumentManagement vs KM etc

The answer is because we treat KM as an ordinary management technique with similar level as other management tool types. But, considering the following comprehensive special understanding on KM, the situation will be entirely different.

The following seems to be the answers (from : “WHY KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT HAS SO MANY RIVALRIES WITHIN?” -   http://bit.ly/aXPwAd ) : .....Knowledge Management(KM) essentially is not management technique but behaving more as an access mechanisms that can be used across any management tool type such as TotalQuality Management, Learning Organization, Benchmarking, Process ClassificationFramework, Business Process Reengineering, Balanced Scorecard, Business Intelligence including Social Media platforms etc. wherein each with theirspecific functions to be orchestrated under KM’s consciousness. So, here we put KM in incredibly broad meaning as Subject with higher level and having organizational consciousness  than any other management tool type which is treated only as Object

I hope through comprehensive understanding on KM above mentioned, KM is not longer considered as a fuzzy term as well as no longer need again to put KM inrivalry position against many kinds of management (tool) types.  Only “Knowledge” as subject having consciousness can do “Innovation, Collaboration and Learning from Experience”. But, “Data as well as Information” as object having no consciousness can’t  do such things

2.    Hence by nature, KM suitable as HUMANSYSTEM BIOLOGY-BASED KM (HSBKM) model framework which has  three boundaries of KM regarding their interface with the environment. They are, KM Tools (Techno-based boundary), KM Process Framework (Human Mind-based boundary), KM Standard Culture & Value (Organizational Learning-based boundary).  KMTools representing human physical senses (peripheral nerves) as human primaryknowing tools or human Knowledge with Lower Consciousness (KLC). Based on Postulate 1 (Knowledge is Consciousness and KM is not fussy term ) as well as Postulate 2 (Knowledge is Living Thing ) used as evidence-based phenomenon, we encourage to develop POSTULATE 3 declaring that Knowledgeis the best candidate as the 3^rd basic ingredient of the Universe beside Matter and Energy.
