Understanding Suicide in Commercial Farming Communities: A Case in Benguet, Philippines

Discussion of the research results to understand the suicide phenomenon that was observed to be prevalent in indigenous communities engaged in commercial vegetable farming in Northern Luzon, Philippines. This multi-disciplinary research was conducted from 2009 - 2012 by the Benguet State University and ResearchMate (a local NGO) covering the suicide cluster in one community. The video shows the presentation of the research team before local policy makers in the the province of Benguet, Philippines.
