We're building Appropedia as a platform for those interested in open development.
A modest start page on the subject is at Open development, open aid, which points to the various related resources on Appropedia. See also open development wiki for mentions of some of the active efforts.

I've only just become aware of the KM4Dev wiki, so I added that to the table at Green wikis and development wikis. That's a large sortable table - click the button in the !IntDev column twice to bring that category to the top and see some of the wikis in the area (though most are inactive).

We'd be interested in knowing how we could serve this community better - please comment!

A related conversation in the blogosphere: Do you think it’s time to support a humanitarian wiki?. Would appreciate any feedback, and please share the link with friends in the development world. Thanks!

Thanks Lucie - interesting site. I've added it to the table (feel free to edit it to correct or add to it).

Glad to see they're using the same open license (CC-BY-SA) that Appropedia and Wikipedia are using. Do you see an opportunity for collaboration here?

Also interested to know who started it, and how organizations like the FAO and CGIAR got involved. Checking out the site now...

Hi Chris,

Great initiative! I didn't see the KS toolkit wiki in your list (http://www.kstoolkit.org), in case you want to add it.

Donate !

We all get a great deal out of our engagement in KM4Dev. Maybe you would be happy to express appreciation through a regular voluntary contribution. Crowd funding works!
