Riff Fullan commented on Graham Durant-Law's blog post 'Data Cleansing, “Role Types”, the Main Discussion Group'
"Hi Graham, Your SNA work on the KM4Dev community is fascinating, alright! On the size of the community, it is of course a difficult question, partly because there are three (more or less) linked communities: km4dev, SA-GE (Francophone) and Siwa…"

KM4Dev Face to Face Meeting at IFAD, Rome, Italy

September 30, 2011 all day
Join us for a day of KM4Dev community conversations. We'll convene in Open Space to consider where we are and where we want to head as a community. We'll also have space for KM/KS topical conversations and a lot of fellowship. The Core group will also hold an open meeting the night before - we'll post the location once it is decided. Friday night we'll all go out for a no-host (each pays their own) dinner. There is a DGroups list for the event at …See More

"On your video musings Hannah, what was mostly in my mind was reporting using interview style, but I would also want to explore the others. In any case, I think a viral approach is most likely to work. Some people like playing around with cameras,…"

Organisations and Networked Work

Now that the video is ready, I can add this post on a second thread from the KM4Dev2009 EduHuddle, which is related to networked ways of working. It is becoming… Continue

Some thoughts generated by the KM4Dev2009 EduHuddle

Getting to this a bit late, but maybe it's still of interest....a couple of threads I found interesting from the EduHuddle (attended Day 1 only) relate to capacity building, the first more around individuals and the second around organisations and networks. In a small breakout group discussion, we heard about Jocelyne Kompaore's work in Burkina Faso, where she works on providing training using a powerful model for building up training materials. This involves working with knowledge-holders… Continue

Exploring Social Reporting from KM4Dev 2009
